Wicking Bed Mix, (formerly known as Square Foot Garden Mix), is a scientifically formulated growing medium perfect for shallow garden beds and pots, specifically designed for Square Foot Gardening and using in wicking beds and self-watering planters such as the GreenSmart Wicking Pots. Based on the renowned 'Mel's Mix', our mix includes cocopeat, Charlie Charcoal, high-quality compost, and vermiculite, as well as added trace elements and boosted nitrogen content to optimise growth in WA conditions. Certified organic, it is suitable for raised beds, pots, and containers with shallow depth, providing exceptional water retention and root penetration.
